I prayed for about 3 months and got the same answer.
I was about to leave bible school, and needed to figure out what city I should live in. I didn’t know if I should stay where I was in Missouri, or move to where my fiance was in Wisconsin, and push our wedding date up.
I asked God over and over again, “Should I stay here, or should I move?”.
The most interesting thing about it was that about 2 weeks into this 3 month prayer journey, I felt the Lord say, “you choose and I will bless you”.
I wasn’t completely convinced, so it took me 3 months to get the same answer.
Have you ever prayed for something or asked God for something that you already knew the answer to? Why do we keep praying?
We want to make sure that we are sure. In doing so, we sometimes forget that God is also about us walking in faith and trusting Him.
Sometimes, when it comes to doing God’s will, He allows us to use the free will that He gives us, we just have to make that first step.
There will be times where we have to wait until God shows us His will, but there will also be times where God just wants us to trust Him, and know that He has our backs.
Sometimes you have to pray, then jump.
Jeremiah 17:7 - “Blessed is the one who believes and trusts in and relies on the Lord...
Prayer: Dear God, help me to trust You and Your will for my life. And give me courage to jump when I need to jump
